Governor Issues ‘Stay At Home’ Executive Order

“All persons may leave their homes or place of residence only for Essential Activities, Essential Government Functions, or to operate Essential Business and Operations” Essential Businesses include:

  • Stores that sell groceries and medicine
  • Food, beverage and agriculture, including marijuana dispensaries/growers and animal shelters
  • Charity/social service orgs like food banks
  • Media
  • Gas stations, bike shops
  • Banks, currency exchanges
  • Hardware stores
  • Trades like plumbing, electricians, exterminators, movers
  • Mail and shipping services
  • Education (provided 6 ft. social distancing followed)
  • Laundrymats/drycleaners
  • Restaurants (for takeout)
  • Stores with work-from-home goods
  • Transportation/transit (including Ubers)
  • Home-based care
  • Residential facilities
  • “Professional services” (legal, accounting, real estate)
  • Day care centers
  • Manufacturers
  • “Critical union” operations
  • Hotels
  • Funeral services
